Please read these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using IVO Player. By accessing or using the IVO Player application or the ivoplayer.com website (together, the "Service"), you enter into a legally binding agreement with the operator of IVO Player ("IVO Player", "we", "us") and agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and the Acceptable Use and Legal Use Cases set out below. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Legal Use Cases for Our Product

By using the Service you confirm that your use falls within one or more of the following lawful purposes. Any use beyond these is prohibited, and responsibility for any violation lies solely with you:

• Personal media & home-server streaming. Playing your own legally owned media, or content from a personal media server you operate (e.g. Plex, Jellyfin, Emby, a home NAS), via a playlist you generate yourself.
• Officially licensed content distribution. Accessing content that a licensed broadcaster or video-on-demand service provides to its paying subscribers as a playlist (M3U/Xtream), so you can use the player of your choice.
• Free-to-air (FTA) public streams. Organizing and playing official, legally free streams published by public broadcasters and independent channels.
• Authorized corporate/institutional use. Companies, universities, hospitals, hotels or similar organizations broadcasting licensed content, internal training or live events to their own users/guests across multiple screens, where the organization holds the necessary rights.
• Live event & conference streaming. Broadcasting conferences, meetings, classes or services from a secure, private stream URL to authorized internal members or paying attendees.
• Software testing & development. Developers and QA engineers testing HLS/M3U8 streams for compatibility, quality and playback before launch.

2. Legitimate User Segments

By using the Service you confirm that you fall within one of the following legitimate user segments. Any use outside them is prohibited, and responsibility for any violation lies solely with you:

• IT/AV professionals configuring the player on corporate displays, hotel TVs or campus networks to manage officially licensed or internal feeds for which they hold the proper permissions.
• Licensed broadcasters / VOD services offering their paying subscribers a playlist as a flexible way to access their legally licensed content.
• Hospitality & retail businesses managing a controlled set of promotional, informational or officially licensed channels on their own screens.
• Media enthusiasts & technologists consolidating their authorized sources — free public streams and their own media-server content — into one interface.
• Small content creators / niche broadcasters providing a playlist to their paying customers as the means of accessing their own exclusive, licensed content.
• Expatriates & global citizens (limited use) combining legal public broadcaster streams with a legally acquired premium subscription, where offered as a playlist, to consolidate their viewing.

3. Acceptance of These Terms

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of these Terms. The Service must not be used for any unlawful purpose or in any way these Terms prohibit. Acceptance is mandatory; if you do not accept, you must stop using the Service. You must be of the age of majority in your jurisdiction to enter into this agreement.

4. Account, Device Activation & Free Trial

Each device is identified by a device identifier and a device key, used to activate the device and manage your trial or subscription. Every new device receives a 7-day free trial automatically. After the trial, a valid activation/ subscription is required to continue. You are responsible for keeping your device key confidential and for activity that occurs on your device. Deactivating a device on the website applies on the device on its next launch.

5. Payments, Pricing & Refunds

Any subscription or activation is purchased on our website (ivoplayer.com), not inside the app. You acknowledge that you have been informed of the nature of the Service and its rates and charges, which may change from time to time. Payments are due immediately.

7-day trial & no refunds

Because we provide a 7-day free trial to evaluate the Service before any purchase, payments are non-refundable. We do not provide refunds for issues arising after purchase, including device incompatibility, your internet connectivity, or the availability or quality of any third-party source you configure (which we neither control nor provide).

All sales are final

Please review your order carefully — all sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges except where the Service we sell is not delivered as advertised or where required by applicable law. Where we process payment, your information is handled by reputable payment providers; while we use modern security measures, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree that you will NOT, and will not permit anyone to:

• Use the Service to access, stream, store or distribute any copyrighted content without authorization, or for any unlawful, infringing or fraudulent purpose.
• Configure sources you are not legally entitled to access.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, tamper with, or attempt to circumvent the Service's security, licensing or activation.
• Resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the Service except as expressly permitted.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.

You are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with all applicable laws and the rights of third parties. We may suspend or terminate access for any breach.

7. Third-Party Content & Sources

IVO Player does not supply any media, channels or playlists. Any source you add is provided by you or by a third party of your choosing. We do not endorse, control, verify or assume responsibility for any third-party source, its legality, availability, accuracy or quality. Streams flow directly from your provider to your device — not through us.

8. Service Availability, Compatibility & Internet

Access requires a compatible device that meets our system requirements and your own internet service; you are responsible for your connection and any data usage. Certain features may be unavailable in some regions. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every source will play, and we may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including (without limitation) fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility, security or accuracy. We make no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Service or its servers are free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IVO Player shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss or damage whatsoever (including, without limitation, loss of business, opportunity, data or profits) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, or for any content accessed through sources you configure. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

11. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without notice or refund, if you breach these Terms (including any unlawful or unauthorized use). On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, liability limits and acceptable-use obligations) continue to apply.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes are reflected by the "Last updated" date above; your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and you submit to the courts of that jurisdiction for any dispute, except where mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.
